Honey glazed ham with cloves

Cooking Instructions


  • 1.5kg Tormeys cured ham uncooked
  • 2 x bay leaf
  • 12 x cloves
  • 75ml honey



1. Bring ham to boil in large pot of fresh cold water

2. For each 450g simmer for 30 minutes

3. After 2 hours of cooking time add  and bay leaves

4. Remove ham whilst still hot and place fat side up on a roasting tray

5. Brush with honey and stud with cloves

6. Place in a preheated oven 215° c for 20 minutes

7. Remove from oven and leave to cool

This is a great centre piece to any Christmas dinner
